On Screen!

We have really enjoyed being able to make use of the newly improved broadband in Beirut to enable us to have video calls with family members in other countries.  Routing these calls through to the television brings on a rather Star Trek-ish impression of the process.

  1. very cool. We had an Italian exchange student live with us in 2007. She loved to get on line and talk to her family with skype. I remember being a child and dreaming of a day when phones would have a screen.

  3. Ditto- nice TV! I suppose I should go and buy a web came now so I can be on the big screen and to ensure they don't forget the awesomness that is me.

  4. can you believe we were born in a time when this stuff wasn't even around? Our kids will think we are SOOO old, but it's all very exciting and cool. We used skype weekly when John's parents were in Africa on their mission, we loved it!
